I cannot praise Mr Mundy enough for all the care he has given me over the last four and a half years. I had a hip replacement - by another surgeon that went horribly wrong. Mr Mundy has worked tirelessly on me/with me over the years - multiple revisions, washouts, hip removed, infections, long stays in hospital. I trust him implicitly. His kindness to me and my daughter cannot he rivalled. I could write a book but really I’d be here for ages. He has been totally professional honest and so very caring throughout. He is an amazing guy and amazing, caring surgeon, an expert in his field. He has supported me with care and kindness and positivity throughout the most testing time in my life. If you are lucky enough to have him as your surgeon I would say you couldn’t have someone better - he goes over and above. He is just an amazing surgeon and man. I’ll be eternally grateful to him. Thank you Gary.
Thank you just doesn't seem enough when it comes to saying how much Mr Mundy has changed my life.
From the very 1st moment I met he was incredibly kind and caring, full of compassion and empathy. I never once felt uneasy which is a huge compliment given my past. I have always felt respected and he didn't shy away when I asked to be kept updated during my operation including showing me the damaged parts of my knee. This massively helped to keep me calm, feel in control and I strongly believe its aided my recovery.
Well what I can I say about my recovery, the instant the spinal wore off the awful deliberating pain was gone! Instead I only had what can be described as a lovely post op pain!
Within a few days I was no longer taking any pain relief for my right knee, I've previously being taking painkillers around the clock! The pain was so bad I was awake 3 to 4 times a night, I was on the verge of stopping work even though I love my work.
The pain and painkillers clouded my head to a point of being so tired I had so little energy, I didn't have any concentration so was unable to watch a film. I was unable to be on my feet and on occasions couldn't stand in church for the hymns whereas 12 days post op I was on my feet for 4 hours at a Jubilee fete and I had no pain in my right knee!
Mr Mundy has given my children their mother back and my husband his wife, this operation and his skills have completely transformed my life and as I said at the start thank up really isn't enough for what he has done.
Thank you once again for all your expertise, kindness and compassion.
I found Mr Mundy very professional and approachable. He explained the procedure to me clearly. Upon discharge he showed me exactly what he had done and I do not think his care could be bettered.
Thank you for your kind comments. It is pleasing to hear that you have received good care from myself and the team during your treatment.
Mr Mundy is a caring, professional surgeon. I had total bilateral knee replacements and he has helped me transform my life. Thank you.
Thank you for your comments. I am glad to hear you are doing well with regards to your knee replacements.
Found him flippant with a couldn't care less attitude, unable to listen or understand needs training in bedside manners
