Professor Palazzo is exceptional. He performed a surgery to remove an adenoma to my parathyroid. I was very scared as I was aware that this kind of surgery could cause bad side effects such as damage to vocal cords. Professor Palazzo performed the surgery brilliantly. My calcium level has returned to the normal parameters and my voice has returned normal after less than 2 weeks. I could not be happier even because he showed a high level of humanity. He listened to my concerns and did his best to reassure me. He was very caring and I have to add that it is very rare to find a surgeon of his calibre nowadays. His team was fantastic and there are not enough words to express my gratitude and to explain how positive my experience was. I highly recommend Professor Palazzo and all his team at Hammersmith Hospital.

Professor Palazzo was attentive, empathic. He removed a parathyroid adenoma that I had been informed was far too risky to remove. He is extremely modest regarding his excellent skills. He has one of the highest volume of parathyroid surgeries in the country. I had read that a high volume parathyroid surgeon was recommended by Parathyroid UK, so he ticked all the boxes. I can’t recommend him too highly. He gave me advice on post-operative wound care and the scar is barely visible two months post surgery. My GP told me my blood results were fabulous and to all intents and purposes I am now cured of hyperparathyroidism. Professor Palazzo’s team, his PA Susan we’re all amazingly helpful and made my surgical journey as smooth as it could possibly be. Thank Professor.
