I tried to get an appointment with F Haddad. His secretary, Antonia Vrolik was beyond rude. She did not have the competence to call me. Sent me three very rude messages telling me what I can and cannot do. If he tolerates this behaviour from her to his prospective patients (private or NHS), that says a lot about him as a person.
Please do not bother. Fortius Clinic has a list of excellent doctors. See one of them.
Poor communications with surgeon and staff. Lacking appropriate aftercare
which resulted in an emergency visit to a NHS hospital. A long, expensive
and painful experience.
I have been under the care of Prof Haddad clinic for years with the NHS at UCL Euston London, firstly you never get to see Prof Haddad in person as it is always junior consultants in training, the appointments are always spread out over 9 months long between each appointment you can never get through on the telephone to the orphopaedic department ever! after several injections of steroids administered in this hospital still I am in incredibly bad pain.
I was led to believe this is one of the best surgeons in the UK,
but how is this so when I am still in pain?
I think the reality is this is an over-run NHS practice with targets to be met.
Now I have to seek help elsewhere, very very dissapointing.
My father recently underwent hip replacement surgery with Professor Haddad at The Princess Grace Hospital. The care and service extended by Prof Haddad, his team and all staff including physiotherapists at the Princess Grace hospital was exceptional. The aftercare has been equally remarkable. It is rare to come across someone as dedicated and professional as this gentleman and we are truly grateful to have been in his care for my father’s hip surgery. I would not hesitate in recommending Prof Haddad and his team to anyone looking for assistance.. Once treated by Prof Haddad, you would have no requirement to call upon anyone else’s services. We remain sincerely grateful.
Mr Haddad leads a clinic at UCLH but is never actually there, it appears his name is used as a 'celebrity' badge for the hospital, an utter waste of time and money. The secretary tries to hide this, I was once told I could met him on a certain day and the staff were mystified as he doesn't do consultations.
