Very attentive, explained the treatment options clearly and provided reassurance. I felt comfortable and well-informed after the appointment
I had surgery on my wrist to correct my carpal tunnel syndrome. The operation was a success. Within 4 weeks of the operation my symptoms have gone and I am now pain free in that wrist. I have so much confidence in Mr Hashmi that I am going to book in to get him to operate on the other wrist.
Although you have asked for constructive suggestions, I am so satisfied with the care I have received that I do not have any suggestions.
Mr Hashmi, was really polite and informative and helped answer any questions I had about the proceed. Mr Hashmi listened to want I wanted as a patient and let me control the timeline that worked for me, putting me at ease during the process.
I first saw Mr Hashmi due to ongoing shoulder pain. After the necessary tests, he recommended shoulder surgery (subacromial decompression), which was successful, and I’ve now recovered almost completely.
What truly stood out to me was his ability to listen, alongside his professionalism and caring attitude. This meant a great deal to me, as I was raised by a father who was a senior surgeon and who always instilled in me the importance of ethics and values, above all, that a patient must be seen as a whole person, and that trust in the doctor–patient relationship is not just important, but often what truly guides the course of diagnosis and treatment.
These values are sadly too often lost in today’s healthcare system, and I’m grateful to have come across a professional like Mr Hashmi who still upholds them.
Thank you so much!
I was referred to Dr Hashmi following a ruptured distal bicep tendon. As someone who was undergoing surgery for the first time, I was quiet apprehensive and scared. from the moment I was referred to him, Dr Hashmi was nothing but amazing. he walked me through my options both surgical and non-surgical. On the day of the surgery, he came in early to have a chat and reassure me about the procedure, which I really appreciated. The surgery went great and I have had 3 follow up appointments since. I am already back in the gym three months post surgery and almost back to my pre-surgery strength and muscle mass.
He is very professional, kind and straight talking
