We were seen for an assessment of my son's scoliosis, and Mr E Davies was absolutely fantastic with my son. I've never met such a personable and friendly person in the healthcare setting (and I've met a lot). He directed questions towards my 11-year old, rather than directly to me as a parent. It was brilliant for building my son's confidence in beginning to take some control with medical decisions. I'm honestly so impressed by Mr Davies - there's nothing I'd change about him or his manner. He was giving a little training on the job to one of the people working alongside him, and he was incredibly respectful to both us and his colleague. I've got full confidence in him dealing with my son going forwards.

My daughter has been under the care of Evan Davies since 2019 when my then 10yr old daughter was diagnosed with idiopathic scoliosis. 2yrs later in June 2021 at 12yrs of age she was admitted for spinal fusion surgery. The entire experience (whilst traumatic as a parent) has been flawless - the referral, admin team, spinal staff etc has been nothing short of outstanding. Evan has an impeccable warm rapport with children & parents which put me at ease from day one & I had complete trust in him. The team On Ward G3 - nurses, physio, support & housekeeping are an amazing team of people . Supporting & keeping propped up the parents/carers when they are at a point if wondering if things will ever get better. Absolutely showing what our NHS Heroes are made of!

Mr Davies operated on my son after a car accident when he was 6 years old. Due to his outstanding work and support my son is now 21 and plays professional contact sport, without Mr Davies expertise my family would not of come through the hardest time of our lives and I will be forever thankful to you.

My 12 year old daughter had a strong curvature of the spine and she had bracing and intensive physio which had resulted in a very unhappy girl who labelled herself as not being able to do anything. Mr Davies changed our lives by giving us sensible practical advice. She started sports again and living her life to the max as any 12 year old should. When surgery was necessary Mr Davies was patient, understanding, helpful and informative. The recovery from surgery was not easy but what a difference! She’s so pleased with herself! We owe so much to him and will always be indebted. We would recommend him 100%

Just seen this review page and had to comment. I had a spinal fusion by evan davies in Sept 2008. He completely put me at rest after speaking to other surgoens who to be frank were like butchers. Yes the pain was bad after the op but that's hardly surprising after spine surgery. I do believe that the patients attitude is paramount to aid recovery and success. This guy in my eyes is like god. He totally changed my life as I couldn't even walk 5 feet without being in tears. I would highly recommend this guy.
