Mr Farinella is and incredible surgeon. I've had multiple bowel operations, when I become pregnant we decided on a c section, Mr Farinella was involved in the surgery due to scar adhesions, he was extremely professional and reassured me even after the surgery was over. I'm just hoping he will be available to assist in February 2022 when baby number 2 appears!

I had a laparoscopic cholecystectomy on 1 March which I can only describe as a work of art. Recovery has been quick and totally free of problems. Mr Farinella has a very open manner and an ability to explain complicated medical matters in a simple way so that it can be understood by the likes of me. Highly recommended.

On 30.08.18 i had a laparoscopic repair of bilateral inginal hernia (TAPP) under general anaesthetic on both sides under the care of Mr Farinella the procedure was carried out by keyhole and went as planned. Mr Farinella came and spoke to me before the procedure and answered all my questions explained thoroughly what was going to happen and put my mind at rest.Icouldnt have asked for better care from him his team and all the staff at the Lister Hospital. i have recovered well and am now back at work. I would recommend Mr Farinella his team and all the staff at the Lister most highly

I had a routine cholesystectomy in Jan 16 because of gallstones. Had not met Mr Farinella prior to my surgery date but as my consultant was away he took his place. He was very thorough when going through the consent form and really put my mind at ease. Very friendly and reassuring. My recovery was textbook. I have had no problems following the surgery and would highly recommend Mr Farinella to any future patients.

Was admitted for ruptured appendix. He came to explain everything after the operation. I had to go back a few weeks later with infection but it was all sorted and I felt in safe hands. The scar has also healed nicely.
