Dr Thompson was my neurosurgeon when I was four years old as I had a major surgery. He was a lovely doctor he took great care of me and was truly patient. I have been going to see him for annual checkups and he is very understanding and cautious with everything. As I am 16 already I will not be visiting him as often anymore and I will truly be grateful for everything he has done for me. Overall, I truly recommend him and believe that all his patients will be treated with upmost care.

Dr Thompson was the neurosurgeon for my daughters surgery 13 years ago. He is an exceptional doctor and truly caring. He has a very great relationship with all his patients and their parents/guardians. I have met several neuro consultant and surgeons throughout the 16 years that I have been in and out hospital due to my daughter‘s condition however, he is the best doctor that I have Met. Dr Thompson is truly patient as he was able to calmly explain everything about this surgery several times to me as English is not my main language and sometimes I struggle to understand medicinal terms. Overall, I really recommend this doctor and I know you would be looked after with great care.

Dominic Thompson was my daughters neurosurgeon. She underwent surgery on two occasions to untether her spinal cord. Her last surgery was in 2007 and she is now 24 years old. I could never thank this man enough for what he did for us. He listened, explained, cared, made solid recommendations and performed amazing surgeries. It is now ten years since I have seen him and yet am still driven to recommend him. Me and my family are eternally grateful that he chose Neurosurgery and GOSH.

Mr Thompson has operated on my son, Michael, twice in three years. First and foremost, he is an amazing neurosurgeon- but it is the fact that he breaks the ‘surgeon’ mould by being so personable that makes him extra special for me. My son has a long list of medical issues and we’ve met numerous surgeons in his little life, and Mr Thompson, without doubt, is the best. He is thorough in his clinical practice, kind and calm in his bedside manner. He listens and is empathetic and delivers information about surgeries etc with patience. I trust him implicitly and could not ask for a better surgeon for my little boy. And Michael loves him!! Thank you Mr Thompson!!
