I have had ongoing knee issues and was referred to Mr Nathwani a knee expert at Cleveland clinic. He only operates on knees which gave me great confidence. He was personable and easy to talk to and we came to the decision together to do a knee arthroscopy The operation went well, I healed well, did my exercises and due to his skill even climbed Kilimanjaro 6 months later. My stitches were super neat and small so I had no scarring so I am very happy. In conclusion, Dr. Smith is a top-tier knee surgeon whose skill, empathy, and commitment to patient care make him an outstanding choice for anyone seeking orthopedic treatment. I am grateful for his expertise and the positive impact it has had on my recovery. Caitriona

Mr Dinesh Nathwani was recommended to me by a friend. He couldn’t speak highly enough of him! Now following my ACL reconstruction surgery and pre and post operative care, I too can recommend Mr Nathwani very highly. At my first appointment he listened to me, examined my knee and thoroughly explored my current situation, needs and wishes. At that time I was suffering from a lot of pain and my life was becoming very restricted due to my damaged knee. Mr Nathwani clearly explained my options, the main ones being an ACL reconstruction or a partial knee replacement. Other surgeons would have likely just replaced the knee due to the additional presence of arthritis therein. However, Mr Nathwani recommended the ACL reconstruction first as he felt he might be able to stabilise the knee and reduce my pain without the need for a knee replacement at this stage. He was absolutely right. His incredible surgical skills have resulted in a stable and pain free knee. I am now one year post operation and it is remarkable. I can walk, run and exercise without restriction or pain. I am very happy with the outcome and, if I do need a knee replacement in the future (many years from now thanks to his recent work), I will be returning to Mr Nathwani. Thank you to Mr Nathwani, his medical secretary, Ms Anne Birch and the whole team at The Cleveland Clinic, all of whom have provided exceptional service and care.

Can’t speak more highly of Mr Dinesh Nathwani from the first consultation until after the procedure.( right knee revision on knee cap) He instilled confidence in his ability to investigate the issue( I’ve previously had a knee replacement on this knee) to solving the issue, which he did! (when several other consultants were unable to and couldn’t work out what was wrong!) I found him extremely approachable and so professional from start to finish. He was extremely thorough in his investigations as to the cause of my knee troubles and took time to ensure he was 100% certain as to the best possible outcome for me before operating. Last year I was unable to walk more than a few steps at a time as my knee was swelling constantly. Six months post op and I am walking in excess of 20km daily and feel I have my life back! I cannot thank Mr Dinesh Nathwani and the team of staff at the Cleveland who took such good care of me. It was a truly amazing experience and I’m eternally grateful.

Although I have not received my surgery as yet, it is due 31 st July, Mr Nathwani gave me a great deal of confidence and made me feel very relaxed. He understood my pain and has made me confident that I have made the right decision to come to the Cleveland Clinic. I am self funding patient (as sadly I could not wait any longer for the NHS referal) so it was very important for me to know I was not only getting excellent care, but also that I would be receiving value for money. Mr Nathwani has give me the confidence I will get both. I could not be more grateful to him because he has given me hope, which I had lost.
