I have recently been treated by Mr Betal and cannot recommend him and his team highly enough for the empathetic and caring way they have treated me since my diagnosis. Whilst Mr Betal has deal with the practicalities of surgery etc in a sensitive and informative way the nursing team have been wonderful in their support. During appointments, I have felt as though I am the only patient they are treating that day in terms of the time and opportunity they have given for questions etc when, in reality, I know that I am one of many passing through their doors. Thank you for the way you do everything you do, it really does make a difference.

The treatment I received at Worthing Breast Unit was excellent. Dr Betal was so kind and thoughtful throughout the whole process and surrounded by caring staff made the journey easier somehow. I would never hesitate to recommend Dr Betal and feel that with him you are placed in caring hands. I cannot thank him and the staff enough

At the age of 28 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Something that never even crossed my mind before finding the lump. Everything happened so quick however Dr Betal always ensured I knew exactly what was going on and what was going to happen. I honestly don’t think I could of got through this without Dr Betal. He has been there every step of the way, every question he answered, every tissue he provided, I could not of asked for a more genuine, caring doctor to be at my side. He’s done the most incredible reconstruction of my breast with an implant. The scaring is minimal and he managed to save my nipple, something I was extremely upset about losing. Being so young I was terrified about what I would look like. I’m not married, nor have children, and it scared me that I may be covered in scars but in fact it’s the complete opposite. My new breast looks amazing and i couldn’t thanks Dr Betal enough for it. I’m still in recovery after having the op 2 weeks ago however once I’m fit and healthy I will somehow raise money for the Worthing Breast Care Clinic just so I can give something back. From the bottom of my heart I am so grateful for everything you have done and I cannot sing Dr Betals praises loud enough. Xx
