Six years ago I was diagnosed with papillary carcinoma of thyroid. Mr Ratliff performed a total thyroidectomy which was followed up by radioactive iodine ablation. There were no postoperative complications.
I am now on L-thyroxine for life and will be reviewed once a year for life.
Mr Ratliff has always been very thorough, courteous and pleasant during our hospital appointments.
