Mr David Polson

Dr Poison was the only doctor who actually listened to my concerns when I was having difficulty getting pregnant, he prescribed me a course of Clomid and when that was failing he booked me in for a laparoscopy straight away which showed I had endometriosis and polycystic ovaries. He took as much endo tissue away as he could and the next month I fell pregnant. Honestly I believe if it was not for this man I would not have my beautiful toddler now. I had my procedure at the Oakland's in Salford and I am having the same trouble all over again getting pregnant so I looked him up but sadly he no longer works there. I would love him to help me again as I trusted him 1 million per cent he was brilliant.

We seen Dr Polson at Oakland’s in 2016 we then went as an nhs patient to Manchester fertility, we took our four frozen embryos with us from St Mary’s, Dr Polson said we would be pregnant by Sept and sure as dam it we were! With twins- sadly we lost one very early and we have our beautiful little girl Gracie, Dr Polson was kind caring and went the extra mile to reassure us, we had a treatment called quad therapy at his suggestion and I swear that helped, we are in discussion stages of having our remaining two embryos put back but upset to hear Dr Polson has moved on :( we know we are in capable hands of his right hand woman though so remain optimistic! Please don’t lose hope! X

I first met Dr Polson at Manchester Fertility in 2015. He was absolutely fabulous - caring, honest and I felt completely at ease. I had some very large cysts that were preventing me from getting pregnant. Dr Polson arranged for me to have a laparotomy and carried out the procedure himself. From start to finish I was extremely well looked after. I would recommend Dr Polson to anyone in the same position. He is a lovely man!!! 15 months after my operation - I am pregnant !

Dr Polson has looked after myself and my husband for the past year as we undergo fertility treatment and he is the most courteous and caring doctor we've met!

I recently underwent an open abdominal myomectomy performed by Dr Polson and he successfully removed 3 large uterine fibroids. I saw Dr Polson at the Oaklands Hospital in Salford. I was extremely anxious about visiting unsure as to whether there was something sinister wrong with me. From the moment he greeted me with a warm' hello' I felt at ease. He listened- properly listened, he advised and following examination of which I had been most anxious about allayed some of my biggest fears. I have spoken on the telephone twice since seeing him and for me it was good news. He is the nicest, most caring professional I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. If you find yourself assigned to Dr Polson thank your lucky stars. You will be seen by the best there is. Thank you Doctor Polson....for everything.

I have seen this doctor for about 10yrs, through teenage pregnancy with complications and also for surgery, He is understanding, non-judgemental, caring and very good at his job. If you find hospitals and examinations very anxiety provoking I would recommend you see him, as the reassurence and help he has given to me and to my child during pregnancy and her early days has been excellent.

Thanks to Dr Polson I had a little girl in Jan 2010 following a series of miscarriages. He identified, treated and monitored the problem. His manner is lovely and I would definitely trust this Doctor 100%.
