I am so grateful to Mr Griffiths for having the knowledge and expertise to know immediately the first time I met him what the cause of pelvic pain and a number of other symptoms I've been experiencing for years was. An exploratory op proved his theories correct. I've asked countless other medical professionals for help over many years and got nowhere. He does listen. He does understand. I came out of the first meeting quite shocked to find someone like that. His information answered so many questions. I have options to explore now. Also, I was very nervous on the day of the op and the team were kind and responsive to this, doing things to make it easier for me. I'm hugely grateful. Thank you all so very much.

I had to see Mr Griffiths regarding stress incontinence which I have suffered with for over 5 years. I am 62 years old and I was dreading the examination. Mr Griffiths was the consummate professional and put me at ease. Yes I was embarrassed but that’s why I went to see him so he can help me get my life back. I can highly recommend Mr Griffiths.

My experience of care with Mr Griffiths was very positive. He has excellent patient care skills and a very patient centred approach. I had experienced problems for a long time and had stalled several times on my decision to have surgery and tried some other treatment options with other clinics. I sometimes felt that some other clinicians felt frustrated with my choices and did not fully appreciate the impact that having a hysterectomy would have. Mr Griffiths was patient, kind and understanding in his approach and understood the journey that I had been on to get to his consulting room. It is apparent from the literature that his team provide that his team really do understand that having a hysterectomy is more than a surgical procedure and also needs a more holistic approach that is a team effort involving treating clinicians, the patient and the patients support network, taking into account social factors, self care and emotional support as well. Mr Griffiths is a first rate surgeon and he works with a great theatre and nursing team. Prior to surgery he was open and realistic with me about surgical approaches, his confident yet considered approach left me feeling that I was in very safe hands. My recovery was entirely uncomplicated and I am very pleased to have had the surgery, it was nice to tell Mr Griffiths at follow up that having the procedure had already resulted in significant improvements in my health and wellbeing. I had TAH/BSO in March 2019.

I saw Dr Griffiths back in May with various different complaints of discomfort which I assumed were bladder and gynaecology related. Having frequent UTI's and previous scans showing 6cm 'mass', Dr Griffiths suggested an exploratory laparoscopy and a cystoscopy. I felt instant relief from this and was explained I may need an oophorectomy also. Dr Griffiths really listened and I felt comfortable and completely confident and assured. I had the surgery two weeks ago and all went to plan as he discussed, now just waiting on results from a biopsy. Dr Griffiths was quick in putting surgery in place, professional, thorough and reassuring. Couldn't be happier with his patient care.
