Mr George has at all times listened to what I had to say and answered my questions in a way that I could understand. He has shown empathy and understanding throughout. His surgical work has been a complete success and I am very happy with the quality of his, and his team's, aftercare.

I had a very positive experience with Mr. David George. I met him on 4th September when he assessed my condition and immediately booked my operation for 1st October. During my stay at The Rivers I was looked after extremely well. Mr. George visited me after surgery to reassure me that the operation had gone very well. I was discharged the next day feeling completely pain free. I returned to hospital on 13th November to see Mr. George who signed me off and said I was progressing well. I have since received a letter from him (copy to my GP) explaining the whole procedure and my progress. I have been most impressed with The Rivers and the care I have received.

Mr George gave me the confidence to go ahead with the hip replacement surgery. I was diagnosed in 2017 but was too young to have the surgery at this time. Unfortunately by the time I saw Mr George in June 2024, the pain had gotten a lot worse and I was somewhat reluctant to agree to the surgery as I was still very active and playing tennis and going to the gym. Mr George was very informative about the surgery and felt that I could be pain free going forward. He has an easy going manner and put my mind at ease to agree to the surgery. He performed the surgery 7 weeks ago and it went really well, thanks to his excellent care and skills I have made a great recovery walking unaided after 6 weeks and I am pain free. I can only recommend Mr George as he is an excellent surgeon.

From the moment I met Mr George I felt I was in very competent hands. I had a total knee replacement at the age of 82 and I can’t thank Mr George enough. I am walking unaided at 6 weeks and my scar is healing so well. I highly recommend Mr George and his team at Rivers Hospital. A very big thank you for your expertise.

I had a replacement hip operations 6 week's ago and I am walking and doing almost everything I did before the operation without the pain l have healed really well.Mr George did the operation explaining everything that he was going to do and made me feel really confident about the operation I can't thank him enough.all the staff were amazing with the after care giving me the confidence to walk.Yours Mr Colin ball.
