Mr Cumming is a fellowship trained orthopaedic spinal surgeon with seven years’ experience as a consultant. He performs 300 adult spinal conditions per year. Surgical expertise in the management of adult degenerative and traumatic conditions affecting all areas of the spine. He has collected outcome data on over 2000 patients. Mr Cumming has worked with NHS England to develop best practice in spinal surgery across the country. He is a member of the Clinical Reference Group for Spinal Services and the improving Spinal Care Project. He is also Chair of the East of England Regional Spinal Network and the secretary of the British Association of Spinal Surgeons.
