Broke my ulna in a horse riding accident and had to have it operated on to fix it. Was very anxious having never had an operation but what an excellent job the surgeons done. Thanks very much.

Dr Chesney is a great surgeon I just had mpfl reconstruction and he made me feel comfortable explained everything listened to my worries and made me feel at ease . Don’t be fooled by someone’s bad review or negativity as he is not arrogant , maybe that patient was the arrogant one. I would highly recommend anyone considering him

Delighted to have my wrist repaired by Mr Chesney when I arrived as a trauma patient. Very polite, helpful, gave options, listened attentively, provided reassurance. To be honest, those things aren't as important to me as the surgeon's ability to perform the surgery well, but it very definitely helps. And thus far it seems surgery went very well indeed. I am so grateful for his skill and expertise.Thank you.

This guy was brilliant even though the news he had for me was not exactly what I wanted to hear. He was very polite and kind and did not sugar coat the prognosis or give me false hope. We spent nearly 30 minutes talking with this man and when my time for surgery come I will be asking him to do the work I need done. This chap is relaxed methodical and listened to what I had to say. This chap is a credit to the medical profession and a thoroughly nice man.

I found this Surgeon to be very rude he came across as I cannot be bothered with you. He asked about the problem that had been seen by other Surgeons in other areas upon being told he said well why can you not go back to them, we explained that we had moved from the other City to here for work. Well what is it you want me to do he asked we said heal the problem with the knee that's why we came. From then on the appointment went shall we say south. He asked if we had any mental Heath issues we said not that we knew of while thinking what the hell is going on here. He then stood up while we were sitting down looked down at us and said better just go home and take painkillers. At this point my husband said I cannot take strong pain killers as the cause other issues. Well that's all I have to offer good day. I said we were sent here as the previous surgery had failed after ten years can you not sort his knee. As I said good day I will write to your GP. We are now waiting to go back to the person who did the surgery many miles away. This Surgeon is not someone with any skills to enable him to talk to the people he gets paid to treat. I would not go back to this man ever he should not be working in that job.
