Mr Birchley performed a laparoscopic bilateral hernia repair for me. He explained the process clearly at initial consultation, and gave further detail, at post-operative meeting, of what he had found and what he had needed to do for the best outcome. I was very pleased on my return home the day after the surgery to find that I had no pain, only mild discomfort that faded quite quickly, and I am back to normal activities and moving comfortably. I felt confident that I was receiving excellent care.
