I had a breast reduction a year ago under the fantastic care of Mr Chester. I was very nervous about the procedure, but was instantly put at ease by the caring manner and professionalism shown. Mr Chester listened carefully and gave all the information needed to make an informed decision about going ahead with the surgery, and I am so glad I did. It has honestly been life changing for me. I waited a year before I wrote a review to allow me time to see results long term. No more back ache and Migraines are very very minimal now.The care I received from all staff at the hospital was great and Mr Chester went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and looked after in every way. The aftercare was also very good and I felt fully supported at all times right up until my discharge. I would highly recommend Me Chester to anyone contemplating a procedure.I would like to say a big thank you for improving my quality of life.

Mr Chester did a minor procedure for me, a serbaceous cyst that was on my face. He listened to me and explained everything to me in detail at my initial consultation. I had the operation 2 weeks later. He and his nurses were all lovely, putting me at my ease, and the operation was over quickly and efficiently. I have now been discharged and couldn’t be happier with the result and a scar that is healed and fading rapidly, in fact my son couldn’t even see it when he was looking for it ! I would recommend Mr Chester to anyone thinking of finding a plastic surgeon as he’s very kind, calm and reassuring.

I had 3 growths on my skin removed by Mr. Chester, 2 of which turned out to be malignant. He carried out the procedures with exemplary skill, explaining at every stage what he was planning to do, the risks involved and dealing with any questions or concerns I had. Throughout the 3 or so years I was treated by Mr. Chester he maintained a friendly and courteous disposition. I have absolutely no hesitation in commending him to anyone in need of an excellent plastic surgeon.

Mr Chester is a consultant plastic surgeon. He qualified from the University of Birmingham Medical School in 1995 with Honours in Pharmacology. He was trained in plastic surgery in the West Midlands. He is on the GMC specialist register for plastic surgery and was awarded the prestigious McGregor medal for achieving the highest mark in the FRCS(Plast.) examination. He has worked in the field of plastic surgery for the last 15 years and was appointed a consultant at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (formerly Selly Oak Hospital) in 2007. He also provides the plastic surgery service for Worcestershire (Kidderminster Hospital and Worcestershire Royal Hospital). He prides himself on his communication skills and involves patients fully in decision-making so that a tailored treatment plan is made. He has recently ran a communication skills course for plastic surgery doctors.
He has a number of specialist interests including: cosmetic breast surgery (enlargement, reduction, uplift, correction of asymmetry), tummy tuck surgery, liposuction, eyelid bag correction, scar revision, pinnaplasty (ear pinning), removal of skin lesions including skin cancers, hand surgery, amputation stump revision.
