I had to wait 13 months till they decided my fracture was not going to heal by itself. I ended up with a shoulder that was compensating all the time for my broken arm and made me look lop-sided (and still does).
My operation in February this year seemed to be successful though I am still having problems moving my left hand behind my back but Mr Makki said this could take up to 18 months, however, it had been causing some concern to myself and my physiotherapist.
So after 20 months I have now been signed off from Mr Makki though I am still under physio locally.
Very informative!
Mr Makki has been treating me for Carpal Tunnel syndrome in Harpenden Hospital.
Throughout my appointments and the surgeries, Mr Makki was professional, friendly, communicative, kind and caring.
He put my mind at ease each time I was worried and answered any questions I had. Excellent and personable care from first consultation to the resolve of the issue.
It has been a pleasure to meet Mr Makki and to be under his care. Could not have been better. I absolutely, 100% recommend him.
Many thanks for everything Mr Makki.
All the best to Mr Makki and Harpenden Hospital staff.
Best regards,
MM
I had a great experience. No complaints about anything. I was seen at the Spire in Harpenden, but it will not go in the box
I felt I was under a very professional and experienced surgeon. I was concerned before the finger operation, but felt assured after meeting him and his team.
Now signed off and pleased with the results.
