Recently had my breast augmentation done by Dr Widdowson. He was great from the first day I met him at my consultation, very approachable and answered any questions I had and did not rush me in to making any decisions. On the day of surgery Dr Widdowson made me feel at ease and confident and visited me after it was done to see how I was doing. I am 4 days post op and have only taken paracetamol and the odd ibroprofen. I highly recommend Dr Widdowson.

As to why this surgeon has not been reviewed yet is beyond me! Such a genuinely guy! I had went to 3 previous surgeon consultations with regard to Breast Augumentation and my biggest pet hate with them all is lack of genuine care. In my eyes I'm going to a trained professional to do a surgical procedure on my body as I'm unhappy and that is part of a surgeons job, to care and listen. Other surgeons I went to they clearly could not be arsed. 'Another stupid girl getting a boob job' If a surgeon shows me no care or respect well I don't show it back nor will I wish to book - why should I ? Plenty more fish in the sea. Go with your gut ladies...always! Well thank you Mr. Widdowson as you were genuine, kind, showed you cared and gave me an honest expectation of what could and could not be achieved. From this I gained trust with you and decided to go ahead with surgery (after 6 years searching). Day of surgery obviously nervous, all drawn up and ready to go. Simple things like showing respect towards me was always shown. Tied me back up whilst respecting my dignity. What more could a young person ask? I didn't feel awkward at all! Surgery I believe went well, only downfall is he didn't have time to see me after. 'Not going to lie - gutted as I wanted to hear from him how everything went. If he had any concerns or for me to discuss any I may have had. Also just to say a thank you to him. Chuffed with results so far. Done some digging on Mr. Widdowson and has good qualifications. All recognised and I believe specialises in scar revision and reconstruction. That requires great skill, so most definitely a surgeon you can trust to do a decent job! I personally went with Transform in Edinburgh as Mr. Widdowson recently started working for them too. I felt no obligation to go with him, I wasn't forced and most importantly, I felt genuinely cared about by Mr. Widdowson using his expertise - wanting to make me happy. Having that 'want' from a surgeon is what you seriously 'need'! Give him a try and if he's not for you well I can guarantee you'll have been given his honest opinion to help you and as said before plenty more fish in sea. Keep searching.
