As a result of uncertainty about the issue with my knee, Dr Arvinte suggested non surgical treatment as a first option. Once this was unsuccessful, he listened to my concerns and the concerns of the physio and agreed to operate. The operation went well and I'm on the road to recovery .

When I visited Mr. Arvinte I thought I would have to have a total knee replacement but he assured me that I only required a partial knee replacement which I was so pleased about. The method he used was very successful and I made a speedy recovery and was able to walk into my first checkup with only one crutch for uneven ground or steps. He fully explained the procedure in advance and at my checkup provided me with photos from the xrays. I am 74 years old and it is now six months since my op and I am fully active even doing a 5km walk in Paris recently. The scar from the operation is very neat.

Mr Dan Arvinte is a well recognised Orthopaedic Consultant with a special interest in hip and knee pathology. He has a vast international experience. He has done his basic and specialist Trauma and Orthopaedics training in Romania, Belgium, Austria, Japan, Hong Kong and United Kingdom. He is Fellowship trained in Hip and Knee Replacement procedures (primary, complex primary and revision surgery) and knee arthroscopic procedures. His results in UK National Joint Registry are excellent. He is also Regional Clinical Supervisor for medical students from Cambridge Medical School and a clinical and educational supervisor for junior doctors from East of England Deanery.
