After 18months of progressive pain and developing an awkward gait and painful list I found my way in front of Mr Jensen. Having very quickly offered a diagnosis, subsequently confirmed by an MRI, I was very clearly talked through the options available to me. I ultimately elected for surgery, conducted by Mr Jensen, and can not thank or praise him enough. I frequently describe my treatment as having had a magic wand waved over me, with all of the original pain and symptom completely vanishing. I’m left only with the after effects of having walked with a list/gait for so long and am working through physio to correct this. Being able to stand tall with no pain is something I was beginning to doubt I’d be able to do again and I’m very grateful that I now can. Mr Jensen is clearly a very skilled and talented surgeon, but is also a thoroughly nice bloke. Very endearing and approachable, he really put me at ease and very clearly explained everything to me in language I could understand. I feel he really went above and beyond to provide me with the care I had in the timescale it came in. Aftercare equally fantastic, getting back to me in a very timely manner in the couple of occasions I’ve reached out to him - something I really appreciate as I can only imagine the pressure on his time. I couldn’t recommend Mr Jensen highly enough, and whilst I clearly hope I don’t have the medical need to find myself in front of him again, I wouldn’t think twice of aiming for him if I did. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me.

I had severe back pain from a slipped Lumber 4 vertebra . He explained the problem thoroughly and gave a reasonable prognosis and offered me surgery which I accepted. The operation was a great success. I am pain free now. All thanks to Mr Jensen. Excellent surgeon and a kind man

Mr Jensen was always friendly, he listened to my problem and put a plan in action, this plan ultimately lead to Mr Jensen and his team performing surgery on my spine, I had a disc decompression performed, I am now relatively pain free and improving every day. I am grateful for all that Mr Jensen has done. He has giving me back my normal life. I was always made to feel cared for when ever I was in clinic, and Mr Jensen is one of the most friendly specialist I have ever met.

I can't recommend Mr Jensen and his team enough. 6 months ago I couldn't turn over in bed or control a shopping trolley! Daily life was a real struggle due to debilitating pain and limited use of my arms. I needed support with dressing and simple things like turning taps on & off and pouring water from a kettle were a challenge. Six months post surgery and I have just returned from a 3 day activity residential with 31 Year 4 pupils. Amongst other activities I confidently participated in caving, archery, climbing and canoeing, totally pain free! The care I have received under Mr Jensen has been outstanding. Throughout my treatment everything was explained fully and I was always able to get in touch for support and advice.
