Mr Gavin took over from my previous consultant who had retired, much to my sorrow, but I was pleasant surprised by his friendly, open manner. He made me feel valued and significant, stating that it was important to talk to a doctor in person, not via telephone or computer. He seemed knowledgeable about my condition which was very reassuring. I was consulted at all times on my opinion and requirements. I would certainly be happy to recommend Mr Gavin to other patients. I just hope he is still there when I visit again in 2 years. Nothing is more unsettling and worrying than seeing a different doctor each time.
