When he saw me at my pre op Dr Quah explained the medical procedure very clearly.I felt safe and confident that my operation would be successful. On the day of the operation he dispelled any nervous feelings I had.He has an excellent team.At my six week appointment he took care to answer in detail all the questions I had prepared.I am very happy with my treatment.

I met Mr Quah at Nuffield Health Derby, over 12months ago now, he is always very interested in you, your lifestyle and very helpful in suggesting ways, treatment, that will improve your quality of life. I had a debilitating problem with my hip, and being a regular rambler I was struggling, I had two injections which only helped short term, so recently I had a total hip replacement, which only after 6 weeks, has helped me to walk with sticks up to 3miles.

In Febuary 2020 , I was lucky enough to beat the covid lockdown and have a total left hip replacement procedure, this was done by Mr Qhar . I was totally desperate for having the operation , as my quality of life was rapidly deteriorating, through the pain. From my first meeting with Mr Qhar at Derby Royal I felt he was really pleasant and understanding , and felt at ease with him. Through how inundated Derby Hospital operating theatres was , Mr Qhar offered some of his patients to transfer with him still to do the operation at Barlborough Treatment Centre,. I did,nt hesitate as this mean,t it would be done sooner. My operation went brilliantly , Mr Qhar came to see me before my operation , and through having spinal anesthetic , was even able to have a quick word to advise my operation had gone well immediately after. My recovery as been amazing and my scar healed really well, I also was very impressed on any advise I needed I could ring Mr Qhars secretary Donna and where she could help she did. Overall I would,nt hesitate at recommending Mr Qhar . Well done to him and his team .......can,t thank him enough.

This was my third knee replacement, the second on my right knee, and it has been far less traumatic than the previous two. I have experienced very little pain or discomfort and I have had full movement almost from day one. I am able to walk several miles a day, without any difficulty and unaided, something I have not been able to do for years. Mr Quah and his team gave me confidence and support from the outset: his quiet assurance and obvious expertise reassured me even though I knew the outcome could have been poor. The covid measures were sensible and appropriate throughout. My thanks to everyone.

I had a successful total hip replacement performed by Mr Quah in July 2020 at Nuffield Health Derby Hospital and I am totally thrilled with the life changing outcome. Mr Quah is an outstanding, professional Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon. He is very approachable, informative and caring and I cannot thank him enough for restoring my quality of life. After six weeks I was hardly aware of having had a major operation. I thoroughly recommend Mr Quah to anyone requiring his specialist treatment in Trauma and Orthopaedic surgery. He is absolutely brilliant in every aspect of his profession.
