After seeing another gynaecologist previously , I was left mentally exhausted, struggling and overall made to feel like my years of symptoms were all in my head . I luckily got to see Mr Pickles and he listened to me , he gave a sympathetic ear and put me at ease. He agreed with me that he said all my problems were probably looking like endometriosis (which is what I was adamant I had). After examining me with exceptional bedside manor and professionalism, Hethen, asked me about laparoscopy and if it was something I would consider for a definitive diagnosis . I was so happy . I have been passed from person to person, department to department and Mr pickles I believe has saved me. The pain and suffering now has a name After my laparoscopy a few days ago....endometriosis!! Mr pickles followed through with his great level of care throughout my surgery too and came to see me after. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart.

After failed IVFs /ICSI at age 39-41 we decided to have a Tubal Reversal. I was told by the IVF doctor that only donor eggs was the answer as I was simply old now. After this heartbreak we decided to get a second opinion from Mr Pickles. He truly gave us hope and said at our age with the results he saw, my husband and I were doing well! Mr Pickles is so caring and passionate about what he does and his team are wonderful. 1st October 2019 I had my operation removing filshie clips and left with 7.5cm on both tubes. We all were extremely happy with the fantastic job he had done . We began trying to conceive from November 2019. Covid happened but still no baby and we were about to began enquiring about an HSG in October 2020 as we 9mths trying on cycle 10. Behold after my 43rd birthday I can happily say I got my positive test . We are now pregnant. We are so thankful to Mr Pickles and his team!

I had my reversal steralization operation done by dr pickles 13 days ago.. i've not experienced much pain and despite have 2 filshie clips on each tube he has been able to leave me with 6cm both tubes which is great when 2 clips on each tube was used. I would strongly recommend him, we could have went somewhere closer ( we are in central scotland but partner drove for hours to nottingham and back home ) we choose him as he has vast experience and seems to be best around.

I had my sterilisation reversed in January. Doctor pickles was amazing put me and partner at ease. We are on our second month of trying so fingers crossed.

I was really hesitant to get a second opinion as my old doctor dealt with my original diagnosis and surgery, however as soon as I saw Dr. Pickles I was so happy and wish I had done sooner. He is so kind and listens and doesn’t make you feel like it’s in your head or play down your symptoms.
