I cannot praise Mr Healy enough. I had to have a delicate surgical procedure done on a part of my anatomy about which I am very squeamish and had much trepidation. Mr Healey was nothing short of a magician at keeping my nerves in check so that I was completely still and under control for his knife without any sedation. He is personable, caring, calm and informative not to mention his amazing skill. It is now a day after the operation and I feel almost nothing due to his expertise and experience. I consider myself very fortunate for having being referred to him and would chose him again without any hesitation.

Some years ago now, Mr Healey operated on both my wrists, both for Carpal nerve decompression. The left had been unsuccessfully attempted by a surgeon at Kings. Ciaran performed a rescue mission on this hand, which had suffered the irreversible loss of 8% of its nerve function and the six month window of nerve regeneration due to administrative delay was missed. This was tested and confirmed by nerve conduction tests at Guys. Ciaran’s swift action prevented further loss. He then performed Carpal Tunnel surgery on my right hand in fashion unique in my limited life experience, which I have not stopped praising at every opportunity in the intervening years; he incised down along the crease of the life line, and accessed and divided the Retinaculum completely, thus releasing the pressure on the Carpal nerve with no visible incision scar on healing whatever! Mr Healy operated on both my hands on separate occasions for trigger finger,(both hands and different fingers.l also had depetrons removed from the left hand.On my last visit l had a partial carpal tunnel decompression on my right wrist ,this was over 10 years ago and l still have full movement and strength in both my hands.I would recommend Mr healy in a heartbeat,he is a good listener and has very constructive comments to make you fully understand what will happen during the operation and in recovery.I trust his ability fully.My thanks and admiration to you and your team without people like yourself would not be able to continue with work ,thank you again.
