Prof Bulstrode saw my mother at the John Radcliffe A & E, Oxford on Sunday May 26th (Bank Holiday week-end). He was courteous and careful, and offered us succinct, targeted advice. He (and everyone we saw that day) did their work efficiently, cheerfully and as quickly as was practicable. Prof Bulstrode even went that extra bit further by engaging my (elderly) mother in conversation about some of her other ailments, about which he happened to know quite a lot it turned out.

Professor Bulstrode was everything a panicked mum needed yesterday! My young daughter had a small fracture in her arm that had not been picked up at the Horton A&E, ten minutes with this Dr and our minds were put at rest and we knew what we were dealing with. His manner with our 3 year old was spot on, danced her into the MIU ward, made her chuckle despite her discomfort and immediately put us all at ease. His joyous manner, sense of humour mixed with such thorough professionalism made the whole experience a breeze. Very refreshing to have someone listen, explain and patiently talk you through x-rays, so you leave feeling entirely confident with the diagnosis and know exactly what next steps are. Heartfelt thanks, and if we ever need a visit to A&E again -fingers crossed this wonderful Dr is present to treat us!

Very helpful and friendly. I had a rather unusual injury to my ankle which he explained very carefully, showing me on the Xray where the damage was. He took time and answered all my questions.
