I was seen in A&E. Prof Bulstrode wasn't impressed that I had come on a Saturday despite coming on the advice of a 111 call.

I suffered a stroke while on holiday in France n July 2014. On the 13th July I was transferred from Nice to Manchester via the Air Ambulance service. The Professor checked that all my documents were ready & in order before we left the hospital. He was very jovial & funny and made me feel very relaxed about the forthcoming journey home. During the flight he translated all the French documents / medical records from French to English which prevented any potential delay when I arrived at the Manchester hospital. The lady Nurse was also very professional and friendly. Sh talked to me during the flight to reassure me. I am pleased to say that I am making a slow but steady recovery. Thank you.

Hello Prof Chris Bulstrode, My son Colin Taylor flew back on Thursday night from Paphos to Oxford John Radcliffe Hospital. He cannot thank you enough and the other collogues who was on the plane, he tells me you told him he didn't think they would operate which put his mind to some ease. The next morning in Hospital they put a brace on him and asked him to sit up he was very scared as he has been lying in his back for 8 days, well he walked to the toilet and was so relieved he could walk ok. The next morning he was feeling a lot better and calm and said they would X ray and if all OK he could go home and indeed he did he was over the moon. I took him out for breakfast this morning he is a different man, Colin has to rest for six weeks so lets hope all goes well. Once again please except Colin' s best wishes to you and all, you made his trip back to the UK with all your support, please keep up the good work. Best Regards David Taylor ( Colin's father)

Chris Bulstrode and Caroline Taylor, brought a very ill friend and me back from Marrakech a couple weeks ago. They managed to provide gold quality care to my friend on the flight back to East Midlands Airport, while responding to my concerns and chatting with me as if we had been friends for years! They were just brilliant. We are grateful.
