Faultless from start to finish. Even came to see me both morning I was in the ward, just to check how I was feeling. Not sure I can suggest how to improve as in my opinion the care couldn’t have been greater. The one possible improvement could be the clerical aspect. For example on two occasions I traveled from Andover for physio, only for the following day to return for dressing change and final consultation. Without doubt this doesn’t hinder the whole experience, I couldn’t be happier. My knee now feels brand new and can’t wait for my life to begin.

After having an arthroscopy on my left knee performed by Mr Bailey earlier in the year I had no hesitation in going ahead with a TKR of my right knee in September. Felt total at ease the day of the op and until I left the hospital 2 days later. Recovery was virtually painless with full movement regained post op within 6 weeks. Really pleased with the results and would highly recommended Mr Bailey.

I found Mr. Bailey was very clear all the way through, from the consultation meeting, to the day of my operation and the days after while I was in the Nuffield and then to my final outpatient meeting. Mr Bailey clearly describe the procedure involved with full knee replacement and also showed the condition on an x-ray slide that was restraining the distance I was able to walk, without having to have a short rest. He also responded to a number of my questions which relieved a small number of my anxieties. I left the appointment feeling confident with the outcome of the procedure.
