We discovered Mr. Abela through our consultant research, and only after comparing his profile with that of other consultants did, we realize he was the best consultant surgeon for our son. After a couple of consultations, we had no remaining questions or worries, as he was incredibly approachable, friendly, and assured us that we were in good hands. He explained the entire procedure in simple terms to our 10-year-old son, who felt very comfortable about his pinnaplasty surgery after the consultation. The surgery went very well, and he is recovering quickly. The standard of care we received from Mr. Abela and his assistant, Natalie, has been exceptional throughout. We are very grateful for his expertise and highly recommend Mr. Christopher Abela.

Christoper Abela has performed pinnaplasty for my two teenage daughters. With both, he has shown authority with sensitivity to put them at ease and make them feel they are heard and have choices during the process. He explains the procedure thoroughly, in words that they can understand, which is a skill amongst medics. Very professional service throughout. What I like about Chris is he is clearly a great surgeon but he is also a people person with a nice manner, and he makes you feel at ease. I feel he'd give an honest answer to any question I ask and that's important. I have a small lump after the surgery and he's explained what this is and made it clear I can go back if I need more advice or treatment so I feel he genuinely wants the best outcome. More explanation pre-op on the possible outcomes would be handy but I would defintely recommend Chris.

Mr Abela is an amazing plastic surgeon. In March this year he had to repair two complex Mohs surgery sites on my face. He is a true professional which was evident from the initial consultation right through to the actual surgery and after care. Mr Abela is compassionate, caring, puts you at ease and takes time to explain everything in detail. He has an excellent bedside manner. Dr Chris Abela’s professional, caring and friendly approach puts you immediately at ease. From the initial consultation right through to the end of my treatment, I could not have been in a safer pair of hands. He was always clear and reassuring, answering any questions I had. The surgery was carried out, totally painlessly, under local anaesthetic to the highest standard. After only four months, no scarring is visible following the removal of a small lump on my arm and a large one on my back, and the recovery progressed as he had indicated.
