Mr Macutkiewicz was excellent from the first consultation right through the operation and follow Up consultation I couldn’t recommend highly enough of the whole experience. He is friendly, listens to everything you have to say and highly professional. Ten out of ten!

Mr Macutkiewicz provided excellent care throughout. As a nurse with 34 years experience I can be particularly critical. However he was clinically excellent and had a wonderful and kind ‘bedside manner’. I could not be more grateful and pleased with the result.

I had a really pleasant experience with Dr Macutkiewicz, i felt he really listened to my symptoms and explained my procedure step by step in terms i would understand. I felt very at ease in his care, and the procedure went amazingly. Everything i could've hoped for.

Mr Christian Macutkiewicz is an incredibly kind, caring and patient doctor. When I first went in for my initial consultation I was very nervous about the amount of pain I was having and at the time I believed my gallbladder pain may have led to pancreatic cancer (previously told by a different doctor this could happen), Christian immediately put my mind at ease by explaining this away and describing how my gallbladder functions, what it means for the stones and what needs to be done. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to medical procedures due to medical trauma but Christian truly helped me to relax and be calm about my surgery. Not only did he put my mind at ease and help me through the initial consultation but he also looked after my fiance as well and helped him to understand what would happen. All throughout the first consultation, the surgery and the aftercare appointment Christian was exceptionally attentive and responded to any of my messages when I was concerned something may have been wrong. I would highly recommend him as a surgeon, especially if you are nervous in any way as he is friendly, approachable and keen to offer help and advice.

I was as most patients a little anxious about having my Gallbladder removed, however I was quickly reassured by Mr Macutkiewicz, his professionalism and his friendly manner, fabulous communication skills & excellent surgery. My care was A* from the moment I stepped into the setting, meeting both the surgeon and anesthetist before surgery helped ease the nerves, surgery went well, wounds hardly visible, recovery was well supported & quicker than anticipated and I would recommend this surgeon and feel lucky to have had him undertake my surgery and wish him well.
