Mr. Rees is a compassionate, innovative surgeon who I trusted from research to complete a total knee replacement of the right knee. He was considerate of my age when utilising the most up to date product and was inherently clear in my needs and expectations. He is a brilliant consultant who has given me a new lease of life and I look forward to my pending total knee replacement of the left knee.

I would give Mr Rees six stars if I could. In the first consultation about my bi-lateral TKR he explained everything thoroughly but in simple terms that I could understand and answered all my questions very patiently, making me feel confident and relaxed about pretty big surgery. When we met in hospital on the morning of each surgery he explained everything again and gave me all the time I needed to ask any questions. I also met the anaesthetist on each occasion and they were superb too. When Mr Rees visited me immediately after each surgery he explained how it had gone and what I could expect over the next few days and weeks. In the follow-up appointments some weeks later he examined me, asked me how things were going and dealt with any concerns I expressed. And he did all of this in a friendly and professional manner. His impressive CV speaks for itself but having now been under his care I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Rees.

Mr Rees from the moment I met him gave me confidence. He is kind, understanding and sincere. I had both my knees replaced and had every confidence in having it done by Mr Rees. Believe me I am not a brave person. I did exactly as I was told before and after the operations. It's not painless but when you can walk without pain it is so worth going through the procedure. I would recommend this surgeon to everyone. His first class as a person and surgeon. Thank you.

It's just over 4 months since I had knee surgery, which went very well. Before the operation the surgeon and I had a very frank discussion about the surgery and we identified some areas of concern from me. Mr Rees was very reassuring about my concerns and I was very happy to have the surgery, given that we had discussed the procedure. It is important that the patient understands that they (the patient) have a major role to play in the recovery process after surgery. I stuck to the exercise regime provided by the hospital, and supplemented it by watching some you tube videos and the results have been excellent. I am very grateful to Mr Rees for his skill and commitment in making my surgery a great success. I would absolutely recommend him to any of my family and friends. Robert Ramsay

Mr Rees is an unsung hero. His skills in surgery are outstanding having operated on me several times, hips and knees! Not only is he an excellent surgeon but a gentleman with patience listening to all the detail of peoples ailments and having heard it all before, gives advice as if youre the first patient who has experienced this. Fantastic skills both surgically and interpersonally, a very nice man. Irreplacable.
