Mr Eng is a doctor that talks to you and LISTENS. He makes you feel like you are dealing with family. I find him easy to talk to, intelligent and caring. Takes time to explain my health conditions and problems. Highly recommended.

I recently had septoplasty, an ethnoidectomy and a turbinate reduction to allow me to have normal breathing functionality as well as opening up my left maxillary sinus to relief pressure to improve my quality of life. As his patient I whole heartedly feel Dr Eng was extremely helpful, Every visit Dr Eng was smiling and welcoming. he listened to my issues and we spoke about how we could address them, as well as identifying why medication as a treatment had not worked in the past. Dr Eng suggested we do an endoscopic examination ( I have never had one ) to check the nasal passages aswell as a CT scan prior to surgery to provide a "map" that would show other issues previous examination could not identify. This in my case highlighted a deviated septum aswell as narrow passages and a deviation to my bone structure near my ethmoid sinus which would need consideration during surgery. Again Dr Eng was very informative and catered to my questions and I had many. Surgery was fine and went well. Recovery was not as easy as I Imagined, I believe this was due to the infection to which I was treated and examined for by Dr Eng -The infection was quickly squashed. A month has gone now as I write this and I can honestly say my results are wonderful. I have full breathing functionality, I don't feel groggy when I wake up in the morning now; I feel fresher and totally clear. A big thank you to you Dr Eng, I've seen countless doctors prior to you and everytime their answer was to take a 6 month course of steroids. Thank you

Had difficulty swallowing and was diagnosed with a pharyngeal pouch. Mr Eng saw me and advised the best option to correct it was using endoscopic surgery. Mr Eng carried out the procedure which was successful and involved an overnight stay. He came to see me post operation and said it went well. Throughout my time with Mr Eng as my Consultant he was very professional, friendly and confident with a manner that put me at ease. Overall with Mr Eng and the staff of Boston Pilgrim my experience was completely positive.

Mr Eng took fantastic care of me. He explained everything fully and I felt great trust going in to the operation (bilateral tonsillectomy) with him. He checked on me before and after the surgery, and even sent a text to see how I was coping with the pain two days later. There were a few admin issues by the hospital and Mr Eng sorted these out for me, which was very kind of him as I'm sure it wasn't his remit. Finally, the recovery was not as bad as most people suggest it can be, which I'm sure is due to Mr Eng being an excellent surgeon. I'd highly recommend his services for anyone suffering from ENT issues.
