I had been having treatment for cancer of the tonsil which had spread to the lymph node in the neck. The radiotherapy and chemotherapy I had hadn't cleared it up completely and it had spread further to my lymph nodes. My Eng delivered this bad news very professionally and told me I needed a Neck Dissection. He explained the procedure thoroughly and answered any questions I had without hesitation both at appointments and over the phone. The operation I had was successful and the scar I have been left with is very neat (many doctors have commented on his work). The aftercare I have received had been excellent and Mr Eng is still there to answer any questions I have. I have recently been given the all clear following a scan, all due to Mr Eng's amazing work. Mr Eng is a very nice and friendly man and I'd like to say a huge thank you to him and his team. I'd highly recommend Mr Eng and Lincoln County Hospital to everybody. Brian Dobb

I was admitted to hospital in february and I was in for 3 weeks I now understand I had a scull infection, Dr Eng was my doctor, he was so fantastic he really did take care of me nothing was to much trouble for him, not just a great doctor but a great person to, he would always explain what treatment he was given but also why, I was kept informed at all times. Some of the treatment was quite intense but he explained it had to be because of the serious of the illness. We all hope that will never have to go to hospital but sometimes it is out of our hands and to have a doctor like Dr Eng , he really was our gardian angel, Thankyou so so much Dr. if only all doctors were like this what a great NHS we would Have. Mr Eng carried out an emergency operation on an infected wisdom tooth with an parapharyngael abscess underneath. He explained everything very clearly before the operation and was reassuring at a very vulnerable moment. He had an excellent team working with him who made the operation a success. His follow up care both on the ward and in the follow up appointment was excellent, with helpful advice, concern for my well being, and very good answers to all my many questions. He provided me with all the paperwork I asked for even though this took him beyond the time he was due to finish. He is well known and recommended by other experts in the same field. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone else.
