I recently consulted Mr. Ceri Hughes in relation to a mysterious lump which appeared on my tongue. The first consultation very quickly left me in no doubt as to his professional competence, knowledge and experience, all of which are at the highest level. He was reassuring and clear in his explanation of options and outcomes, and I found him to be not only a consummate professional but also a delightful person - which helps in these circumstances. I therefore had no reservations about entrusting my tongue to his skilful surgery, and the outcome has well justified that level of confidence!

Ceri saw me at the spire hospital and his bedside manner was incredable he is so down to earth and even funny at times. very approachable and great to be working with when you feel unwell. i cannot fault any of his care keeps his word and an amazing surgeon. i ahd speedy recovery and great aftercare. would truly recommend to anyone you wont regret your decision to see him. I have recently has some metalwork removed from my jaw (put in to support the jaw some 15 years ago). The whole procedure was done quickly, and extremely well. I have the greatest confidence in Mr Hughes whom I can thoroughly recommend.

Ceri Hughes removed a lipoma from my face right cheek in September 2022. At my initial consultation, after examining the lipoma, Mr Hughes explained the surgical process in detail and in such a way that I was fully clear about what was involved. On the day in which I attended the Spire hospital Mr Hughes came to see me about an hour before I was due in theatre. His manner was professional, reassuring and friendly. Similarly Mr Hughes saw me again an hour or so after surgery to check on my wellbeing and to reassure me that the procedure had gone well. I attended a post surgery consultation with Mr Hughes about two weeks after surgery when he was again very professional. In summary the whole experience - from initial consultation to post surgery involving Mr Hughes was very positive and reassuring.

Extraction of 2 impacted wisdom teeth. I would like to thank Mr Ceri Hughes for the highly professional service I received from this skilled surgeon, who is approachable and knowledgeable. The service I received from Mr Hughes, his anaesthetist and Spire hospital was outstanding. I recovered quickly, and within 2 days no longer needed pain killers. I highly recommend Mr Hughes for his excellent care and attention to detail throughout the process.
