Mr Aylott had come highly recommended and I had very high hopes when I attended his clinic at the Cheltenham Nuffield Hospital on 28th June 2018 - unfortunately we got off to a very bad start - he was 20 mins late and did not engage effectively due to an incorrect administration and he was dismissive of the explanation of my condition and did not listen to what I shared. The major issue arose when he suddenly realised I was not self funding and instead had been a referral of AXA PPP. He became furious and vitriolic in his comments saying " I would of only given you 10 mins of time if I had known that' "they never pay me" which then made me feel very upset and tearful and the consultation was ruined by the issue of finances and payment. I can not in all honesty recommend him due to his response to my PMI cover and also his follow up letter was full of errors and incorrect information. I have notified my insurer of this incident and would recommend that any AXA PPP patients do not attend his clinic. He is clearly a well respected clinician but prefers to work with self funding patients only.
