Having a breast reduction was something I had always thought about having done but I was so hesitant to go through with the procedure mostly because I wasn’t sure which surgeon to choose. After speaking with friends who had previously had procedures with Mr Cameron Raine and reading reviews/looking at before and after photographs I decided to book a consultation. From the first consultation I had with Mr Raine I felt so confident he was the right surgeon for me, he took the time to answer any questions I had and helped put my concerns at ease. I felt as though Mr Raine really listened and understood what I wanted to achieve as well as made sure I was aware of what was a realistic outcome for me. Mr Raine is extremely thorough, and I always felt if there was anything I needed to ask or see him for that it would not be a problem. My surgery went to plan with no complications, and I recovered very well, I could not be happier with the result. Having my breast reduction is the best thing I have ever done, and I could not have asked for a better surgeon than Mr Raine. If you are reading this wondering whether to book a consultation, then definitely go for it! It has completely changed my life and I can’t thank Mr Raine enough! He is truly amazing at what he does!

Tummy tuck From my first meeting with Mr Raine he put me as ease, he listen to my concerns over my body and what I wanted out of surgery. With his advice together we made a plan going forward. This itself made me know that I was in the best hands possible for my procedure. The procedure it self has given me my confidence back something I have not had in many years. Yes there were days were I was uncomfortable but nothing to what I was expecting. I can’t thank Mr Raine enough for being so trustworthy, kind and the staff he works with are amazing and always there to answer your questions. I would not hesitate to get surgery again from Mr Raine

At the tender age of 50 I finally decided to get my ears pinned back after hating them all my life. Cameron explained the procedure and associated risks thoroughly and answered all my questions. The procedure was carried out under local anaesthetic and him and his team were so reassuring and made sure I was comfortable during the whole procedure. To say this has changed my life is an understatement, after 50 years of hiding my ears and feeling self conscious, hating going swimming, being in the wind…..to now being able to tie my hair up, wear caps, go swimming….my only regret is I wish I’d done it years ago, it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made.

Bilateral breast uplift with implants I cannot recommend nor thank Cameron enough. After years of being very unhappy with the appearance of my breasts following the significant loss of weight through disordered eating patterns over years, I finally made the decision to have surgery. My initial consultation didn’t actually go as I had planned and after assessing, Cameron advised that the best possible result would come following an Augmentation Mastopexy instead of implants alone. Initially I was a little nervous however, he explained in detail why this would be the best option, what the procedure involved, and all of the potential risks so I could make an informed decision. We had two additional consultations where we discussed sizing and he provided insight as to what would best suit my frame and allow to the surgery to be as successful as possible. I felt that he truly looked after me from day one and helped me feel at ease throughout the entire process. Six months following surgery, I am happier than ever with my results (which have completely exceeded my expectations) and this has unleashed a newfound confidence after being so self-conscious about this for years. For Cameron, the staff at Refine and at Spire I am so grateful. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me, making my experience seamless and super positive!

Bilateral Breast Reduction Deciding to go through with my breast reduction surgery was one of the best things I have done for myself and Dr Raine made the process so easy. Having had large breasts for the majority of my teenage years and suffering from back pain and low self-esteem, I knew that a breast reduction was something that I would definitely consider when I got older. Once I turned 21 I began to look for surgeons in Edinburgh and I came across Dr Raine, I was immediately impressed by other reviews and his previous work so I knew I was making a good decision when I chose to speak to him for my initial consultation. Dr Raine is very good at talking you through the procedure and making sure you understand the ins and outs of everything. The actual operation went very smoothly and all of the staff at the hospital were amazing at making me feel at ease and comfortable. Dr Raine was also very good at making sure I knew what was going on, and kept me well-informed which helped with any anxiety that I had. I found that the recovery went smoothly and I was back doing my day to day activities fairly quickly. Nearly 10 months on from the surgery, I am still as happy as I was immediately after the procedure. My scars are very faint and I can now wear whatever I want which has done wonders for my confidence and my neck and back pain is gone, I cannot recommend this surgery, especially with Dr Raine, enough.
