Dr Martin is a dedicated Doctor, skilled surgeon and really kind person. Clearly practical, Dr Martin double-checks everything and minimises risks. I doubt anything escapes his notice. He has taken the time to re-assure me: check-up via text when I returned home after surgery; called to explain the biopsy results. He followed-up two years after my surgery just to re-assure me of the minimal chance of re-occurrence: I couldn’t be more grateful. Having been ignored, dismissed and patronised by GPs (and a Gynaecologist) for 14 years, I dread doctor’s consultations. It is such a relief to meet a Doctor who considers their patient as a person.

Mr Cameron Martin is the best example of a surgeon there is. He is caring, compassionate, takes the time to understand the patients perspective and offer all options so that you can make an informed decision. This is the second time I have been operated on by Mr Martin not to mention numerous outpatient appointments and I would recommend him in a heartbeat. His surgical technique is top of his game and I would recommend him highly to anyone looking for a Gynae Consultant top of their game!

I have had two surgery's with DR Martin, both have been a fantastic outcome. He is a god in my eyes made me feel comfortable and at great ease, I cant even say enough good things about this doctor. I would highly recommend him a million times over amazing man.

I was referred by my GP in 2017. Ten minutes with him and he'd guessed the problem that several other consultants had missed. Can't say enough good things, he's an utter gem. Quick, decisive, incredibly knowledgable - but also listens and doesn't patronise, keeps you informed and, in fact, texted me with results after my operation whilst on his holidays. The perfect surgeon, frankly.

I came to Dr Cameron Martin when I started showing signs of endometriosis again. I was previously seeing a gynaecologist in London, which didn't seem practical now I live in Edinburgh. From day one Dr Martin was friendly, approachable and caring, talking through all my options in great detail. He operated on me almost three weeks ago and despite him being an extremely busy man, he still made time to text me multiple times during the first week, to check how I was doing. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. He's a fantastic doctor.
