Mr Chitnavis is everything you look for in a doctor. He listens carefully - rather than making up his mind about your condition in the first thirty seconds, as I find many doctors do - he explains his thinking at length and makes sure you fully understand, he doesn't push you into any course of action and is sensitive to your concerns and to what you want to get out of the treatment. He is also very charming and makes every consultation into a pleasure. I can't say that the operation itself was a pleasure but it looks like it's been successful and Mr Chitnavis did everything he could to make it as easy and unstressful as possible. I can't recommend him highly enough.

From the initial consultation, through to first follow up following surgery, my experience has been first class. I’d been suffering from sciatica and had been in significant pain for approx. five months causing me to dread getting out of bed. Just putting my left foot onto the floor was agony. This might sound like an over exaggeration but, trust me, it wasn’t. To cut to the chase, Mr Chitnavis swiftly diagnosed the route of the problem and carried out a successful discectomy. Mr Chitnavis was clear regarding what to expect both before and after surgery and was able to allay my concerns. I was quite apprehensive about surgery. He is approachable and friendly and I am happy to recommend him to anyone needing similar surgery.

Mr Chitnavis was absolutely wonderful, so kind and caring. He was able to make a diagnosis for my leg pain within 48 hours of first contacting him (and I had been looking for answers for two years) I was particularly impressed that with just two appointments he was able to sum me up as a person, and realise the way that i would like to manage my condition. It is very reassuring to know that he will be there for the future
