Dr Gooch is welcoming with total immersion by listening, diagnosing, advising and patiently explaining the situation in a positive manner . . . 15 minute consultation can run its course as necessary . . . ie not reminding the demands on his time.
I will, with confidence, recommend other patients to seek him out in the practice.

Dr Gooch has recently removed a cyst on my shoulder, he clearly explained what would happen in the operation and when he started he was constantly asking if I was in any pain or discomfort which I wasn’t. He has done a remarkable job and I returned to the manor surgery after a fortnight to have the stitches removed. I would highly recommend dr Gooch for his professional approach on the way he carried out the procedure, and thanks very much to Lisa ponting , the nurse who assisted him thanks very much,best regards Richard ford

Thoughtful and thorough. Listened very well and didn’t jump to conclusions. Clearly busy but had time to listen to a couple of different issues and provide practical lifestyle advice as well as a medical referral.

Dr Gooch graduated from St George's, University of London in 2009 having started his NHS carer as a medical technologist in London. Following Foundation Training in the South West he completed Core Surgical Training in Salisbury (including Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons) before completing GP training in Oxford. Dr Gooch completed his General Practice training in August 2016. Dr Gooch is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners. He holds a degree in Applied Biology and has post-graduate training in plastic surgery, ENT and orthopaedic surgery. He is a partner at The Manor Surgery.
Dr Gooch has special interests in primary care surgery and health technology and has led novel digital transformation projects in primary care. He is also interested in complex conditions and social inequalities in health. He is the clinical lead for a local dementia care home and surgical lead at the Manor Surgery.
