Mr. Benjamin Baker is a Consultant Oncoplastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon based in Manchester. He specialises in aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery including breast augmentation, breast reduction, mastopexy, and breast implant revision, and body contouring including abdominoplasty and liposuction. He is one of only a handful of plastic surgeons trained in both breast cancer surgery and reconstruction. His NHS practice is centred around breast reconstruction, and is part of the largest breast surgery service in Europe at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. He trained across Manchester, Lancashire, Liverpool and Cheshire, was awarded a prestigious nationally appointed oncoplastic breast surgery fellowship, and has worked as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the world-renowned Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne where he refined his expertise in tissue transplantation for breast reconstruction (DIEP & thigh flaps).

Mr Baker is award winning, known for his involvement in surgical education, widely published, and presents his work internationally. He has served as President of the Plastic Surgery Trainees Association (PLASTA UK) and on the Council of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS). He is the Lead for the UK National Flap Registry.

As a member of the UK GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery, BAPRAS, the British Association for Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the International Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, he is committed to staying at the forefront of his field. His practice has an emphasis on exceptional communication, patient safety, and high-quality outcomes.
