Mr Ben Spiegelberg is an excellent surgeon. I had a robotic total knee replacement in May under his excellent expertise. I am now 8 weeks post operation and walking without assistive aids. I am extremely happy with how well the surgery went.Before my surgery I was very nervous about undergoing surgery but Mr Spiegelberg was very understanding and patiently listened to all my concerns and allayed all my fears about the surgery. I highly recommend him as a surgeon to anyone thinking about having a knee replacement

As a very nervous patient I was delighted to find Mr Spiegelberg friendly, very approachable and (most importantly) calming person. He was reassuring and took the time to explain the procedure, and on the day of the operation came to see me both before and after. From being in constant pain for many years my total hip replacement was a complete success. I am so confident in his skills as a surgeon that I have opted to join his list for a total knee replacement.

18 months ago had a total knee replacement and was very happy with the care, professionalism and empathy shown by Mr Speigleberg. I then needed a total hip replacement, so there was no question that I would once again , seek the advice of someone I trusted medically. I am now 6 weeks post op and once again, so happy with the level of care and help i received .
I do hope I don't need to use Mr Speigleberg's services any more but if I do, I would have no hesitation in seeking him out again!

I am now 8 weeks post op after having a full knee replacement. For years I had been suffering from severe pain in my right knee which was effecting my mobility making every day tasks extremely difficult. After my first consultation with Dr Spiegelberg he was confident that a full knee replacement would treat the issue and I was booked in for the op at Bushey Spire. From that day up until my op date his team kept me well informed at every stage and answered any questions I had regarding the procedure. I was extremely pleased with how the surgery went and the care and attention at the hospital meant my recovery was quicker than expected. A huge thank you to Dr Spiegelberg and his team for their care and support throughout my time with them.

Mr. Ben Spiegelberg is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in adult hip and knee surgery. He underwent specialist training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore and subsequent Specialist Registrar training on the Oxford registrar rotation centred at Oxford University. He spent a year in Canada on the internationally renowned University of Western Ontario Adult Reconstruction Fellowship program prior to being appointed Consultant at West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust.
Mr Spiegelberg sees and treats many orthopaedic conditions and fractures. His sub-specialty interests are hip and knee surgery, including knee and hip replacement, partial knee replacement, arthroscopy (keyhole surgery), cartilage transplantation and revision (redo) joint replacements.
