I am writing on behalf of my husband who is currently recovering from emergency quadriceps muscle repair, having been examined by Mr Spiegelberg on Friday 12 April 2024. Mr Spiegelberg identified the problem immediately, without a scan, and, apologising for being unable to operate on him personally owing to a full diary next week, sent my husband to the nearest A & E department with a phone call to expedite his admittance. My husband was processed through A & E within three hours, admitted and had emergency surgery the following day. We are so grateful to Mr Spiegelberg for ensuring that no further damage was caused, as a result of a severe fall/sports injury, and my husband is now in good spirits although enduring the inevitable post-operative process. Once again, sincerest thanks.

I cannot recommend Mr Spiegelberg highly enough, having recently had a full hip replacement under his great care. I had been extremely nervous beforehand, but he inspired confidence and was extremely professional. He has a lovely, calming and reassuring bedside manner with a sense of humour and a fantastic team. He really took great care of me and I am extremely grateful.

I cannot speak to highly of this Surgeon, his advice, his skill, patience and interpersonal skills are very good. I have had two hip operations and both were very successful and I am very grateful to this Gentleman.

From the moment I met Mr Spiegelberg I had complete confidence in him and this proved to be completely justified. Every part of the process was efficient, well explained and effectively executed. Mr Spiegelberg is kind and reassuring and he gives you time to ask questions throughout the process. My recovery under the care of Mr Spiegelberg has been speedy. Listen to everything Mr Spiegelberg and his staff tell you to do and you will recover very well. In particular patients need to believe the staff when they tell you to take the stronger pain relief so that you get mobile as soon as possible. I am very grateful for everything Mr Spiegelberg and his team have done to significantly improve the quality of my life. Thank you.

I am a nearly-70 year old woman who had a right total hip replacement on 16.1.24. I am writing to confirm the excellence of my care when I stayed for 2 nights in hospital over the time of my surgery. In particular, I have a serious psychiatric diagnosis which makes me very vulnerable. I am writing to say that the care I received throughout my stay met all my needs. I had described to Mr Spiegelberg what these were, and he arranged his team's care to meet these needs. Anxiety was one of my main symptoms, at the surface of my serious diagnosis, but Mr Spiegelberg's team reassured, helped, and allowed me to keep myself stable throughout. In addition, the surgery was excellent from every perspective. I am very grateful to Mr Spiegelberg and his team.
