I had surgery for a complex varicose vein condition, to correct a deteriorating condition in a leg with previous history of a failed varicose surgery and a DVT in July 2018. This was done as day surgery in Ashford Hospital (St. Peter's and Ashford Trust). The care I received there was outstanding, from both the surgical and anaesthetic theatre teams and the nursing staff in the recovery ward and the Day Surgery ward, where my designated nurse was Ramone. Not only very good, but also very caring. My leg has made a very good recovery and is now immeasurably better than it has been for decades and I am very grateful to all the staff who were involved. Thank you.

Mr Barun Majumder gave me compleat confidence in his ability to carry out my operation. He did a top class operation, the whole experience was very reassuring and to contact him should I have any issues. I would praise him and his staff very highly. Nigel Bennett.

I have seen Mr Majumder twice, once for an initial assessment of two ulcerated wounds, and then afterwards for feedback on blood test results. He has not rushed to intervene with treatment, preferring to let nature take its course if possible, and one wound healed itself between the first and second visit. During the second visit he carried out a biopsy on the remaining wound under local anaesthetic, which was fine until the local wore off some time later. Fortunately I had some pain relief tablets at home which kept the pain manageable, but it would have been helpful if the availability of pain relief had been addressed during the consultation.

my name is Doris,i was 90 in january and have had ulcers in one leg since September last giving me much pain. I am diebetic 2 and had the vein in that leg stripped some 25 years ago which i believe has contributed to the problem. After some treatment at west byfleet i was referred to Mr Majumder who was most considerate and attentive putting me on a treament regime which whilst painfull and requiring my leg to be raise above heart leval as much as possible (i also have a heart condition) has shown great improvement and hope in due course to have a vnus treatment to resolve th ulcer condition. I am so pleased to be under his care and have greate confidence that he will cure me of these awfull ulcers. I would also mention that his nurse at west byfleet who has treated me has shown great compassion and one could not have had better treatment. I feel so lucky to be under their care.
