I was referred to Mr Barrie White as an NHS patient by a consultant orthopaedic surgeon Mr David Bromage at Kettering General Hospital, because of worsening back and leg pains caused by degeneration of my lumber spine, and complicated by the presence of an intraspinal benign tumour (lipoma) pressing on my spinal cord , which Mr Bromage said he wasn't able to operate on himself. Mr White spent almost an hour with me and my wife. He examined me, looked at the scan in great detail from several different angles and explained exactly what the situation was, and also what problems there could be if and when he operated on me. More importantly he told both of us what complications and possible outcomes there. might be. I have no doubt whatsoever that I am now in the best possible hands. Eric C
