Mr Chaudhary (supported by a stellar team, including Medical Secretary, Mandy Troth ) was terrific, assiduous and unhurried at every point in the end-to-end patient experience, by blending outstanding communication and empathy with highly specialist knowledge, skills, and experience. I experienced this in every consultation and interaction, including
- diagnosis and interpretation of imaging results;
- discussion of treatment/monitoring options;
- further detailed discussion of surgery options;
- pre-surgery preparation;
- post-surgery care and attention to clinical detail.
Furthermore, I was impressed by the extent to which Mr Chaudhary engaged with and communicated with family members, assuaging their concerns, and ensuring that they felt reassured, well-informed, and able to support me pre/post surgery optimally.
I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Chaudhary in the highest possible terms to any individual requiring the expertise of a neurosurgeon, and especially (in my case) surgery to remove an intra-dural tumour.

Mr Chaudhary is an exceptional gentleman. From my first consultation with him, he treated me like I was the only patient he had. He thoroughly explained everything about my diagnosis - C4-6 laminectomy and posterior instrumental fusion C3-7 and L3-4 and L4-5 MIS decompression- and what could be done about it. He talked me through my MRI scans in detail. I have just had my six month check up and all is healing well. I cannot believe the things I can now do again without any pain. Thank you Roy for all you have done for me and all that you are.

Despite being an urgent case, Mr Chaudhary came to see me just before surgery. He was reassuring and professional. Results from surgery were better than I was hoping for.
Post surgery, Mr Chaudhary listened to my future plans and changed my care plan in order to most effectively maximise my chances of returning to sporting activities. He was informative and pragmatic.
I really felt that he saw me as an individual and would do what he could to enable me to move forward as I would choose to.

Dr Chaudhary performed a micro discectomy on my L4/5 disc, everything was explained well before surgery and aftercare was brilliant. Cannot recommended Dr Chaudhary enough.

Mr Chaudhary is one of the highest rated Neurosurgical Spinal Consultants in the UK**. He is a private Neurosurgeon/Spine Surgeon in Oxford having received gold medals, multiple scholarships and awards* for his research and patient feedback on spinal and neurosurgical conditions. He is also a NHS consultant at Oxford University Hospitals having trained at Imperial College, London (M.Sc Surgical Technology), University of Toronto (International AO Spinal Fellowship) and Cambridge, UK (NTN/Residency).
Now in his 28th year in medicine, his clinical work exclusively covers adult spinal pathology. He is highly specialised in minimally invasive (keyhole) spine surgery / daycase spinal operations like lumbar discectomy and spinal stenosis decompression and complex cervical (neck) spinal fusions.
During his medical training, Mr Chaudhary was affiliated with and trained in many of the top universities including Oxford University, Cambridge University, Imperial College and University of Toronto.
