Mr Chaudhary explained thoroughly, every step of the spinal surgery I needed. This gave me the confidence to go ahead, as before I met him I had lost trust in the medical profession and was fairly determined never to undergo surgery again….I was looking for an alternative. However, even though Mr Chaudhary said he couldn’t promise I’d be pain free after surgery but I was and still am pain free. I am very thankful that he made everything so clear that I could make a decision to go ahead and have the surgery.

Mr Chaudhary has excellent consultation skills and he and his very helpful secretary expedited appropriate investigations and follow up. His explanations and plan were very clear - I would definitely recommend him.

Very open and described the condition extremely well - took time to detail the options available. Didn’t push me toward any unnecessary surgery - but left the door open for a follow up consultation if required.

In November 2020, my 79 year-old husband was diagnosed with fractures in his C! and C2 vertebrae. We were offered the choice of an external brace to immobilise his neck, or surgery to fuse the vertebrae. Mr. Chaudhary spent a long time with us explaining what the surgery would consist of, and answering many questions. We opted for surgery based on his explanations and the confidence he engendered. After finishing the operation, at 11pm in the evening, Mr. Chaudhary rang me to tell me that the operation had been a success, rather than my having to wait until the morning for news.At our subsequent follow-up appointments, we always found Mr. Chaudhury ready to answer our questions, and to ask about our experiences. One downside to the surgery - apart from being unable to turn his head independently of his shoulders, my husband now wears size 17 collars rather than 15 1/2! We have no hesitation in recommending Dr. Chaudhary for his skill and expertise, ability to clarify complicated explanations, and care for his patients.

I feel very lucky to have been referred to Mr Chaudhary. He's been brilliant. Excellent communicator - he explained everything really well and made sure I not only understood but was involved in decision making. And he is clearly a brilliant surgeon; it is too soon to know the long term results of my spinal surgery, but the first signs are very promising. I want to put in a strong plea for the type of surgery I have had (keyhole lumber decompression) to be more available. I needed emergency surgery, which was going to have to be open as keyhole was not available at the weekend. Mr Chaudhary managed to organise for me to have keyhole surgery on a Sunday, for which I am so grateful. This should be available for more people, not just in special cases. I cannot thank Mr Chaudhary enough!
