I find Mr Lakdawala’s calm and courteous manner very reassuring and caring. He is always happy to answer questions and is pleasant and polite. I would have liked to have known a little more of what to expect after the TKR for e.g. How tough the first three weeks would be and the loss of use of the quadriceps muscle for three weeks which alarmed me, but I’m sure it’s a fine balance between giving info and not frightening a person out of having the procedure!

Mr Lakdawala explained what he was going to do and why. I followed all exercises that were recommended and found I got movement back .I had my other knee replaced in November 2022 not by Mr Lakdawala but recovery after my operation by Mr Lakdawala is far better and a lot less pain .l recommend Mr Lakdawala very highly to anyone thinking of a full knee replacement .

Mr Lakdawala has an excellent ‘bedside manner’, very calm and reassuring but at the same time realistic in terms of the importance of the post operative physio regime and post operative pain. Six weeks post operation I am now so much more mobile than I was pre operation. Mr Lakdawala was very accommodating in terms of fitting me inti his schedule as I had a travel deadline I needed to make.

Mr Lakdawala performed my total knee replacement surgery in December 2023. From my initial appointment with Mr Lakdawala right through to my aftercare, I received excellent care throughout. He is an extremely experienced surgeon who spent time explaining the surgery I needed, how the immediate days after surgery would be and what to expect at 3, 6 and 12 months on from surgery. I would thoroughly recommend Mr Lakdawala to anyone needing surgery. My whole experience was that client from start to finish.

Dr Lakdawala was great throughout the process, clear explanation of what was happening and how it repeated to my exercise routines. The surgery was a success.
