I have had the misfortune to have had breast cancer twice, in 2014 and in 2023. On both occasions I have had the great good fortune to be treated by Mr Agrawal, the first time at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth and the second at Spire Hospital, Portsmouth. I cannot speak too highly of his kindness, professionalism, and amazing surgical skills, operating on me twice with great skill and knowledge. He has the ability to inspire confidence and trust, even when one is facing an uncertain diagnosis and future. I am a retired surgical nurse, and have met many surgeons in most specialties over the years, and I can honestly say that he is among the best I have met. I commend him and recommend him as highly as is possible. His team at Spire Hospital Portsmouth is second to none, for kindness and professionalism, without exception. I feel fortunate to live in Portsmouth!

I have nothing but gratitude and admiration for Mr Avi Agrawal. I came to him with a big problem that had been affecting me since my early teens and now at 46 I felt I needed to address this. With trepidation I contacted spire and was offered an appointment to see Avi, in hindsight post op this was the best decision of my life. Right from the start, I was placed at ease so it became very easy to put my faith in this gentleman. Now post operatively I can’t thank him enough for the genuinely amazing results he has achieved from my breast reduction surgery. I am aware this was a difficult surgery given the size of the task but he had absolutely surpassed my expectations, there aren’t enough words to describe my upmost gratitude for his help and support. He really is a magician and master in his field

Being told you have breast cancer is terrifying, that coupled with an extreme fear of hospitals brought a fear that I wasn’t sure I could control. How wrong I was. Mr Avi Agrawal and his team were beyond amazing. Everything was explained in a simple calm manner, and I was reassured all the way through. I honestly cannot thank Mr Agrawal enough for taking such great care of me.

Mr Agrawal treated my recent cancer diagnosis and was my surgeon for the follow up procedure. Throughout this time Mr Agrawal has been patient, warm, understanding and managed to bring a sense of lightness to the situation which was much needed at times. I always felt I was in good hands and that I could ask as many questions as I needed, although generally I always thought of these after my appointment. Still with the amazing support of his breast cancer nurse Gwyneth, Mr Agrawal always got back to my follow up questions and made time for me when I needed it.

A year ago today I had my breast augmentation done with Mr Avi Agrawal and would like to come back onto to say how well my breasts have healed. The healing process from day one was superb and it has only got better. I have had no complications, my breasts never bruised, they never went through the stage of being too high. They have always been perfect. For someone who had no boobs at all, to now a lovely B cup. I couldn’t have wanted a better experience. Thank you so much again, if I ever intend on undergoing surgery again in the future for replacements or change of size I will always go with Mr Agrawal.
