I had an issue with my right knee for about two years with a large bakers cyst at the back of my knee and after having a scan done and the cyst drained three times at the Spire London East Hospital Redbridge it came back each time after about a week. I was then placed under the care of Mr Asif Parker consultant surgeon and he explained to me that this was because my knee joint had warn away and would need replacing but his only concern was that he had nether come across such a large cyst like this before and would need to think of a solution to this. I had a full knee replacement done on the 13th April by Mr Asif Parker and he also made a way for the fluid from my knee to disperse in my leg naturally. It has now been two months since the operation and my knee is as good has new and the problem with the cyst is also sorted i will always be grateful to this gentleman for his time and expertise and would highly recommend him he is a true dedicated surgeon and a inspiration to the medical team and i wish him well in the future so that his knowledge can be passed on to generations of surgeons .
