Dr. Jain was very considerate, he arranged a telephone appointment and contacted me on time. We discussed my medical condition, he listened attentively and after giving further advice and information about my condition we agreed that I could be discharged into the care of my GP. He also agreed that if my condition deteriorated I could be referred back into his care by my GP.

The telephone consultation commenced at the appointed time. It was conducted in an open, friendly, warm, professional and informative manner. Mr Jain inspired confidence and was completely open in his answers to my questions. I considered that I had been fully and openly briefed on all aspects of my potential future treatment. I was left with a clear understanding of what the future might hold and that, under current circumstances, predictions of timescales are impossible. I had total satisfaction with the consultation.

Mr Jain has spoken with me twice via phone since Mar 2020, and on both occasions I found him to be very gentle, kind, approachable/easy to talk to and very supportive of the patient‘s perspective. Unlike some consultants I’ve dealt with in the past, he was happy to go into the clinical details (I’m ex-NHS staff) as well as suggest practical ways forward on a long-standing issue. He is a breath of fresh air and I hope he remains with the Morecambe Bay Urology department!

Due to Covid-19 I had a phone consultation with this doctor. It was as good as having visited him face to face. He was very concise with his comments and was very up to date with my condition. Any queries I had were competently answered. Overall a positive experience.
